They shall condemn the stars of heaven, shall lift up their hands against the Most High, shall tread upon and inhabit the earth, exhibiting all their acts of iniquity, even their works of iniquity. Their strength shall be in their riches, and their faith in the gods whom they have formed with their own hands. They shall deny the name of the Lord of spirits,

And these are they who master the stars of heaven, and raise their hands against the Most High, and tread the earth and live thereon, and all their doing is injustice and their doing manifests injustice, and their power is in their riches, and their faith is in gods which they have made with their hands, and they have denied the name of the Lord of the spirits.

De skola fördöma himmelens stjernor, skola upplyfta sina händer emot den Aldrahögste, skola trampa på och bebo jorden, framvisande alla sina orättfärdighets gerningar, just sina orättfärdighets gerningar. Deras styrka skall ligga i deras rikedomar, och de skola tro på gudar, som de hafva skapat med sina egna händer. De skola förneka namnet af Andarnes Herre,

Och det är de som mästra himmelens stjärnor och lyfta sina händer mot den Högste och förtrampa jorden och bo på henne, och deras gärningar äro idel orättfärdighet och uppenbara orättvisa, och deras makt är grundad på deras rikedom, och de tro på de gudar, som äro deras egna händers verk, och de hafva förnekat andarnas Herres namn.
